Best Dissertation Award

There will be session in which researchers will be invited to present their Ph.D. thesis work.

Of all the papers received for the Durganand Sinha award, four papers will be selected by a local screening committee. All the four papers will be presented in a special session and will receive cash awards. One out of these four will be chosen by a committee as the Durganand Sinha Best Dissertation award.

The revised criteria for the Award:

• The paper presented should be part of the researcher's PhD thesis.
  
• The PhD thesis should not have been awarded/ submitted before Dec 2004.
  
• The researcher should have been of 30 years or below 30 years of age at the time of award/ submission of thesis.
  

Interested persons who satisfy all the above criteria are requested to bring an age proof certificate and also a certification from the supervisor stating that the paper being presented in XVI NAOP is part of the PhD thesis.
