The department library is a small but well kept library. The main attractions are the disseratations of the M. Phil and Ph.D students. It can also boast of various old issues: The Economist, Economic and Political weekly, and the Times Literary supplement. In addition it includes a varied number of books donated by the faculty and students of the department. Efforts are on to improve the facilities of the library and also to improve the stock of books (it
survives mostly on donations of books)
and also to make it into a cosy reading room. It also has two computers.
