About the Conference :

The Conference will feature various aspects of History of Mathematics and Astronomy, especially ancient and medieval Indian mathematics and mathematics from other ancient cultures. Talks, panel discussions, paper and poster presentations will be arranged to bring out the broad scope in the study of History of mathematics and its relevance in education, and to the society at large. Paper presentations on historical precursors of topics currently being pursued in various areas of mathematical sciences will also be encouraged. For more information see the poster.
