About the workshop:

This workshop aims to revise the pattern-based human learning of generation of the Sanskrit verbal forms- तिङन्त tiṅanta-forms. The participants will generate the forms of the verbal roots by themselves and recite them under the supervision of the teacher. They will be aided, in this process, by the display of the sample forms of two verbal roots, one each in परस्मैपद _parasmaipada_ and आत्मनेपद _ātmanepada_. The work that they will be doing can also be described as pattern matching.

Note to Participants:

Participants will be mainly the students/scholars studying the व्याकरण Vyākaraṇa (grammar) texts. If others are interested in learning these forms, they are welcome to join. Those who have a general interest in studying Sanskrit may also join. Those who wish to join should contact Ms Priyanka Salekar before 4th August 2024 (salekarpriyanka993@gmail.com).
