The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Bombay, will host the Centenary Edition of the Indian Philosophical Congress (IPC 2025), commemorating 100 years of one of India’s oldest academic forums.
Founded in 1925 by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, IPC has been central to India’s intellectual and cultural discourse. IPC 2025 will honour this legacy while addressing contemporary philosophical issues in a global and interdisciplinary context.
The congress will include a diverse range of participants from India and abroad.
