We used the ELVN model (Exit, Loyalty, Voice, and Neglect) which was developed for romantic relationships, and adapted it to use with a relationship with God.  We created a set of similar items which showed remarkable internal consistency. I will present our results and discuss our next steps to further our investigation. We think it is an interesting way to think about possible outcomes of dissatisfaction with someone's religious life.
