About the event:-
The central idea of this event is creating awareness about the lives of the visually challenged. Will you be able to use a touchscreen phone, perform a laboratory experiment, or draw an image with your eyes shut?  Antarchakshu is a mass awareness and sensitisation event on the lives of persons with blindness and low vision and has been conceptualised and
organised by the Xavier's Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC), St Xavier's College, Mumbai.

By participating you not only help create an inclusive society; you get an opportunity to transform yourself and those around you
1. The event can help you enhance your skills on using the power of imagination, ability to work around situations, overcome barriers, challenge beliefs, and think out of the box.
2. With Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility becoming legal mandates and precursors of effective organization cultures, Antarchakshu® helps you learn the basics of inclusion, accessibility, universal design and equal opportunity education and employment.
Who should attend?
Engineers, designers, students, faculty, educationists, software professionals, web and mobile developers, corporate executives, doctors, bankers, publishers, architects, public sector employees and service provider

The event would have 3 large focus areas as below:

1. Promoting the study of STEM subjects among the visually impaired
2. Accessibility and Universal Design
3. Existing and past works in the IITs with respect to the above.
