Citizenship futures: The politics of hope

Congratulations to Prof. Suryakant Waghmore

        A consortium of academics at the Indian Institute of Technology- Bombay (Suryakant Waghmore),Centre national de la recherche scientifique in Paris (Carole Gayet) and University of York (Indrajit Roy and Nicole Lindstrom) have been awarded 453,000 Euros in funding by the ESRC EU-India Social Science and Humanities Platform for a project titled Citizenship futures: The politics of hope. The Principal Investigator for this project is Dr. Indrajit Roy and the project entails comparative and collaborative ethnography on social exclusion in London, Paris and Mumbai.
